14″ Electric Pizza Oven,Stainless Steel Countertop Pizza Oven with temperature and Timer for Kitchen Commercial Use
Would have to say this pizza oven is pretty much high grade and definitely could take the beating of using it every day in a commercial business environment/establishment. Have to be honest growing up in New York most if not all would walk right pass the frozen pizza section, because why, there’s a pizza shop on every block. I would have to say this oven makes frozen store-bought pizza taste like delivery and could really change that attitude, you would be buying frozen pizza for this oven on a weekly basis. Pictures provided, it speaks in volumes and no joke about it being every bit as good. Having the heating elements on both the top and bottom of the unit works really well and did not have to rotate the pizzas, the pizza cooks evenly throughout the oven without having to worry about that. Do think that a provided pizza stone would be needed in making a pizza with pizza dough from scratch though. Just have a couple of notable discrepancies. This came pretty much protective in a box delivered intact and free from any damage, 5 stars for that, a star deducted for the shrink film that is covered all-around the oven. It is hard getting off and had to get it off with my wife’s hair dryer and using gloves for the heat of the dryer, it took me ½ hour to peel it off. The instruction is plenty short and not much help but do like that after converting what is in Celsius to Fahrenheit for the recommended temperatures to use in the instructions, the actual temperature is in Fahrenheit on the thermostat on the oven to use. (Minor but helps when you have other people using it also who doesn’t know the conversion or difference)Being an electrician, I like to see what amps an appliance draws for the circuit breakers using them and the noted wattage online is 1000 watts for the 12-inch oven when it is really 1700 watts. Total amps at 120V @ total max temp 572F would be 14.17 amps; this is an important factor in knowing and running more than your breaker can handle in the kitchen at once. In the manual it denotes that the timer has no electrical function. It only serves as a reminder. This isn’t correct, tried just turning on the temperature control knob and the oven did not turn on, looked for the power switch to turn it on and couldn’t find one. Looked at the schematic circuit diagram that is provided and the timer control knob wiper is in the neutral middle position showing it turns it on moving it up or down, looked at the timer knob and turning it to the left is the timer, turning it hard right turns the oven continuously/power on, feel if I didn’t know how to read a simple diagram since the instructions tells you the opposite it would be an return item since you would think it doesn’t work, which I did. Other than those couple items this oven is a knock out the park and works as it should, I turned it up to max the first time to pre-heat it, then when it came up to temp the indicator light turned off, turned the thermostat to its recommended temperature for cooking the pizza and it maintained it shutting off and on, from frozen right out the box it takes a frozen pizza no more than 15 minutes depending how you like your crust. This is a solid pizza oven and cannot recommend it enough.
