DA VINCI Watercolor Series 428 Artissimo Kolinsky Red Sable Quill Size 3/0

I have two larger sized da Vinci Artissimo 428 brushes, a number 3 and a number 0. Both are amazing brushes! I often paint plein air with watercolors in a sketchbook that is only 4.5 x 7.5 inches. I have brushes from all the major brands and I love them, but I sometimes struggle with these brushes on smaller sketches. I thought it was my problem so I bought some smaller sized bushes but they don’t hold enough water and the points are not as fine as I need. I love my size 0 428 but it is a little too large for this work so I decided to buy the smallest one (3/0). This brush holds a lot of water and the point is amazing. My problem is solved. I can paint large with it and get into the smallest details and it is beautiful to hold. I only need this brush for my plein air sketches.
