It can be used for removal of protein and lipid-based soils. It is for use on surgical instruments, flexible fiberoptic endoscopes, rigid scopes and apparatus where blood, protein, mucous and lipids form hard-to-remove soils. How to use Manual/Ultrasonic Application: Fill sink or basin with warm water to the appropriate level to fully immerse surgical instruments. Use 1 to 4 ml of Prolystica per litre of warm water, depending on soil load. Soak for a minimum of 1-5 minutes. Cleaning times may be longer with dried-on soil. After cleaning, all surfaces should be thoroughly rinsed with warm water. Solutions should be discarded daily or when visibly soiled. Consult the manufacturer’s recommended reprocessing instructions to determine any additional procedures necessary to clean their particular medical device. Medical devices should be sterilised or disinfected by appropriate means in a separate subsequent step. This is a complete product. Do not add other chemicals, such as bleach or detergents. Added chemicals may destroy the effectiveness of this product.
